What a crock of crap! Technically, yes, a 1.9% uptick in home prices qualifies as better, but certainly not a recovery! A ‘bottoming-out’ if you will, but Detroit? Number 9? On a ‘RECOVERING’ list? Are you insane? Recovering from what? A nuclear explosion? A Chernobyl-like meltdown? Detroit is days away from being TAKEN OVER by the State of Michigan Emergency Mgmt Team and this idiot of a journalist puts it on a ‘Recovery’ list!
It takes thousands of years to recover from a nuclear explosion and if you’ve ever been to Detroit, it looks like it may never recover.
The statistics actually tell a completely different story, but this moron sees ‘Recovery’. What you’re seeing is a bottoming out of the worst depression since…, well…, the Depression!
It is the inevitable ‘last-of’ jobs being lost, ‘last-of’ foreclosed homes being processed, ‘last-of’ people signing up for tax-payer supported welfare. But Democrat Joshua Berlinger (the messiah’s media as messenger) is SO quick to call it a ‘Recovery’.
Go to Detroit yourself. Spend money as a tourist. Bring tissue to wipe your tears. You can’t keep from crying, it is so bad. Poor Detroit…
